Editorial Workflow
Al-Tijarah: Journal of Islamic Economics, Finance and Business applies a rigorous, transparent, and fair editorial workflow to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of every published article. All submissions are processed through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform and undergo a double-blind peer review process.
Step 1. Manuscript Submission
Authors submit manuscripts online through the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS). Submitted manuscripts must comply with the journal's Author Guidelines, formatting requirements, and ethical standards.
Step 2. Initial Editorial Screening
The Editorial Office performs an initial assessment to verify:

English language quality;

adherence to ethical standards.
Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors before peer review.
Step 3. Plagiarism Screening
All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer-review stage.
Only manuscripts meeting the journal's originality standards proceed to peer review.
Step 4. Editor Evaluation
The Editor-in-Chief or an Associate Editor evaluates the manuscript based on:

Step 5. Double-Blind Peer Review

After all revisions have been satisfactorily completed, the manuscript receives final editorial approval for publication.

Step 10. Publication
