Publication Frequency

Justitia Nova: Indonesian Journal of Modern Law is published biannually, with two regular issues released each calendar year. The journal follows a fixed publication schedule in June and December, with June serving as Issue 1 and December as Issue 2. This publication cycle is designed to provide a consistent and predictable framework for the dissemination of scholarly research while allowing sufficient time for rigorous editorial assessment, peer review, revision, and production.

Each submitted manuscript undergoes the journal's established editorial workflow before publication, including initial editorial assessment, similarity screening where applicable, Double-Blind Peer Review, revision, copyediting, typesetting, proofreading, and final editorial verification. The journal seeks to maintain the scheduled publication of each issue while ensuring that the quality and integrity of the editorial and peer-review processes are not compromised by production deadlines.

The publication schedule may be adjusted in exceptional circumstances when necessary to protect the integrity, quality, or completeness of the editorial process. Any substantial change to the publication schedule will be communicated transparently through the journal's official communication channels.

The journal may also publish special or thematic issues when considered appropriate by the Editorial Board. Special issues are subject to the same standards of editorial independence, research integrity, publication ethics, and peer review that apply to regular issues. The approval of a special issue does not constitute a separate or less rigorous publication pathway, and all manuscripts remain subject to the journal's established editorial and peer-review requirements.
