About the Journal
Justitia Nova: Indonesian Journal of Modern Law (e-ISSN: XXXX-XXXX) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Institut Miftahul Huda Al Azhar (IMA), Kota Banjar, West Java, Indonesia.
This journal is dedicated to fostering high-quality legal scholarship that critically explores the transformation of law in response to contemporary global, national, and local challenges. It seeks to bridge theory and practice, encourage interdisciplinary dialogue, and provide comparative perspectives from across jurisdictions.
The name Justitia Nova, meaning “New Justice” in Latin, reflects a renewed commitment to legal reform, innovation, and modernization.
The journal welcomes submissions from legal scholars, practitioners, doctoral researchers, and early-career academics worldwide. It publishes original research articles, legal reviews, policy analyses, and case commentaries in English.

A concise summary of the research objectives, legal context, methodology, key findings, and implications. It should be written clearly and informatively for both academics and policymakers.
Keywords (4–6 words or phrases)
Examples: Public Law; Legal Reform; Comparative Law; Governance; Indonesian Law
Article Structure
1. Introduction
Present the background, urgency, research objectives, significance, and clearly state the research questions. Avoid excessive technical jargon.
2. Literature Review
Discuss relevant legal theories and academic works. Identify research gaps and explain how your study addresses them.
3. Methodology / Legal Approach
Describe the legal methods used: doctrinal-normative, empirical legal research, comparative legal analysis, etc. Include sources, analytical tools, and research techniques.
4. Results and Discussion
Present the findings and analyze them critically. Support your arguments with legal principles and case references. A maximum of 5 tables or figures is allowed, each clearly titled and numbered.
5. Conclusion
Summarize the key findings and contributions. Provide practical implications or policy recommendations. Do not introduce new references in this section.
Acknowledgments (Optional)
Mention funding sources or contributions by individuals or institutions who are not listed as authors.
References
Follow APA 7th Edition citation format strictly. Include DOI or direct links where available.

• Tables/Figures: Centered, numbered, with descriptive titles and sources
• Language: Formal academic English — avoid slang or regional expressions
