Nahdlatul Fikr: International Journal of Islamic Studies, Education, and Humanities is a peer-reviewed academic journal publishing original research and critical studies in the fields of Islamic Studies, Education, and Humanities. The journal covers topics such as Theology and Islamic Creed, Islamic Jurisprudence and Law, Qur’anic and Hadith Studies, Islamic History and Culture, Contemporary Islamic Thought, as well as Islamic Education theory and practice, curriculum development, educational technology, social and cultural studies, philosophy, ethics, gender studies, and multidisciplinary research related to Islam and society. Established in December 2024, it is published by the Institute for Research and Community Service at Institut Miftahul Huda Al Azhar Kota Banjar, West Java. The journal upholds a rigorous peer-review process to maintain high scientific standards and integrity.
Current Issue
The April 2026 issue of Nahdlatul Fikr: International Journal of Islamic Studies, Education, and Humanities, ISSN (Online) 3109-5143, presents interdisciplinary research in Islamic studies, education, law, leadership, and interreligious dialogue. Published on April 30, 2026, this issue features contributions from 2 continents (Asia and Europe) and 5 countries: Indonesia, Pakistan, Portugal, Lithuania, and Türkiye. Articles explore dam tamattuʿ regulation, Scopus indexation, Kiai Bandi’s educational epistemology, Path-Goal leadership in pesantren, and Ma‘na-cum-Maghza hermeneutics for interfaith dialogue. These studies provide comparative, socio-legal, and socio-cultural perspectives, highlighting global collaboration, methodological innovation, and the dynamic integration of classical Islamic thought with contemporary social practices.
