Munakahat: Journal of Islamic Family Law is committed to preventing plagiarism and maintaining the originality and integrity of all published works.
All submitted manuscripts must be original and must properly acknowledge the ideas, words, data, and other contributions of other sources. Plagiarism, including direct copying, inappropriate paraphrasing, self-plagiarism, and duplicate publication, is not acceptable.
Submitted manuscripts may be screened for plagiarism or significant textual similarity using appropriate similarity-detection tools as part of the editorial assessment. A similarity result is considered together with the context and nature of the identified material and does not automatically constitute plagiarism.
If substantial plagiarism or other forms of inappropriate textual reuse are identified before publication, the manuscript may be returned to the authors for clarification or revision, or rejected when the concern is serious.
If plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal will investigate the matter and may issue a correction, expression of concern, or retraction, depending on the seriousness of the case.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts meet appropriate standards of originality, citation, attribution, and academic integrity.
