Munakahat: Journal of Islamic Family Law maintains an international peer-review network comprising scholars and researchers with expertise in Islamic Family Law, Islamic legal studies, comparative law, family governance, and interdisciplinary socio-legal research.
Peer reviewers are selected based on their academic expertise, research experience, scholarly contributions, publication record, and relevance to the subject matter of submitted manuscripts.
All manuscripts are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process. Reviewers do not have access to the identity of the authors, and authors do not have access to the identity of the reviewers. Reviewers are expected to provide independent, objective, constructive, and confidential assessments.
Reviewer assignments and individual reviewer identities for particular manuscripts are confidential and are not disclosed to authors.

Peer Reviewers provide independent, objective, constructive, and confidential evaluations of manuscripts within their areas of expertise.
Editorial Independence and Academic Integrity
Editorial decisions are made independently on the basis of scholarly quality, originality, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal's aims and scope, and compliance with publication ethics.
Editorial Board members, editors, and reviewers are expected to disclose potential conflicts of interest and to maintain confidentiality throughout the editorial and peer-review process.
The journal does not discriminate against authors on the basis of nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, religion, ethnicity, or other personal characteristics. Manuscripts are evaluated according to academic and scholarly standards.
