Munakahat: Journal of Islamic Family Law requires authors, editors, reviewers, and other individuals involved in the publication process to disclose any potential conflict of interest that could influence, or reasonably be perceived to influence, their academic judgment.
Authors must disclose relevant financial, professional, personal, institutional, or other relationships that may affect the research or interpretation of the manuscript. Any funding or other support that may be relevant to the submitted work should also be declared.
Editors and reviewers must not participate in the evaluation or editorial decision-making of manuscripts where they have a personal, professional, institutional, or other relationship that could compromise their impartiality. In such cases, the manuscript should be assigned to another qualified editor or reviewer.
The existence of a conflict of interest does not necessarily prevent publication. However, all relevant conflicts must be disclosed and appropriately managed to maintain transparency, fairness, and editorial independence.
The editorial team reserves the right to take appropriate action when a conflict of interest is identified or not properly disclosed, in accordance with the journal's publication ethics and research integrity policies.
