Munakahat: Journal of Islamic Family Law is the inaugural scholarly journal published by the Department of Family Law, Faculty of Sharia and Law, Institut Miftahul Huda Al Azhar Kota Banjar, West Java, Indonesia. Volume 1, Number 1, released in December 2024, marks the beginning of an academic platform dedicated to delivering in-depth studies on Islamic family law with a contemporary and multidisciplinary approach.

This first edition features contributions from authors representing at least six countries across three major continents: Asia, Europe, and Africa.
