About the Journal

Azhaaruna: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam is a peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually by the Islamic Education Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah, Institut Miftahul Huda Al-Azhar Kota Banjar. Established in August 2021, Azhaaruna provides a platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to disseminate original research, theoretical studies, and innovative ideas in the field of Islamic education.

The journal focuses on diverse topics including curriculum development, teaching methodologies, technology integration, assessment practices, comparative education, moral and character building, classical literature studies, and best practices in Islamic education. Articles published in Azhaaruna contribute to the advancement of knowledge and pedagogical practices relevant to contemporary Islamic education challenges and opportunities.
